How long does it take to complete a commission?
The time varies depending on the size and technique, but on average, a portrait can take between 3 weeks and 1 month.
Small portraits can take about 30 hours, but larger ones can take up to 80 hours or more if the design is complex or very large.
Every portrait is different and there is no exact answer, but in general, these are the most common times.

What kind of subjects can you do?
My speciality is portraits of pets, be they dogs, cats, horses, rodents or any kind of animal companion.
But I also do people, objects or even a landscape that can decorate your living room.

What do I need to send you to get started?
In order to start a painting, I will need to know the technique and size you want. Apart from that, I will also need one or more photos of the subject to be drawn, along with a description of the subject such as its history, personality or any other interesting information.

How does the payment work?
When you have decided on the size, technique and type of portrait you want, I will send you the invoice with the order details so that you can make the payment. Once payment has been made, I will start the portrait. Please note that there may be other orders in the queue, so the start time may depend on the current order load. I will keep you informed when you order your portrait.
Is shipping included in the price?
The cost of shipping depends on the location and is added to the final price of the portrait. For deliveries to mainland Spain the price is free of charge. For international shipments, shipping is added to the price of the portrait.
When you place the order, I will inform you about the shipping cost and the available options so that you can choose the one that best suits you.
Are the portraits handmade?
All my commissions are handmade. I may use some digital software to make improvements to the colour or composition of the painting, but after that the work is 100% handmade.
I really enjoy the satisfaction of creating a work of art in a handmade way and handling the different types of paints and materials.
Can I order a portrait of several pets or subjects?
Of course you can! I can combine several photos to create a group portrait. You can find more details about this in the section ORDERING. If you want a family portrait or a portrait of several pets, send me the images and I will help you to design a harmonious composition.
Do you offer framing?
At the moment I do not offer a framing service, but when I send you the painting I will leave instructions for the correct protection and maintenance of the portrait. You should frame your portrait shortly after you receive it, to avoid accidents and moisture or dust getting into your artwork. If you need guidance, don't hesitate to ask me.
What is sent with my portrait?
The portrait is extremely well packaged and protected.
The shipment includes:
- Well packaged portrait.
- Signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
- Instructions for the care and handling of the artwork.
- Personalised thank you card.
- 1 miniature photo of the painting.
